Represent SSU students by serving on University Committees that focus on academics, campus safety, policies and more! University committees are a group of SSU staff, faculty, and students that work together to make decisions and guide campus policy and procedure.

What to Expect
Student committee members are expected to:
- Show up to all committee meetings (hours and meeting times vary for committees l 2-3 hours per month)
- Actively listen and be engaged in the conversation
- Answer questions and write notes (These notes/ updates will be shared in CASL meetings.)
Meeting times and dates will be determined later based on schedules.

As part of the shared governance of the campus, the Associated Students is responsible for appointing/nominating all students for campus-wide committees, task forces, etc. University faculty, staff, and administrators seeking student representation on a committee should complete the request form.
