Task Force Teams
Join Associated Students Student Government as a volunteer on our Task Force Team (TFT). SSU students are welcome to sign up to participate in one or more of our three task forces (Outreach, External Affairs, and AS Committees) led by an AS Executive Officer. The expected time commitment is 1-5 hours a week.
Outreach Task Force
This team will plan, organize, and execute plans that provide for outreach from the Associated Students organization to its student members and organize opportunities for students to share their voice, concerns, ideas, grievances, etc. with their elected student body organization officers. The Outreach task force will also be responsible for the planning and execution of the AS Spring Election.
External Affairs Task Force
This team will plan, organize, and execute campaigns that provide the means and opportunity for students to self-engage, as well as organize advocacy, in the processes of representative governance on the local, state, and federal levels.
Committee Task Force
This team will plan, organize, and execute campaigns that provide opportunities for students to serve on, and report information regarding the activities of, the wide variety of committee and task forces that serve to give input and direction to the operation and governance of the university.
