Running for Senator of Student Resources

Hi Seawolves! My name is Natalie Gatzke and I’m a third year transfer student from Pleasanton, California.  I am majoring in Early Childhood Studies and minoring in Art Studios. As a transfer student, I understand the challenges we may face everyday such as stalking, peer pressure, and other problematic issues that may occur to us as a college student. As a Senator of Student Resources, I recognize these issues because I have faced them myself. I want students to be able to have a safe space, where they can talk about their struggles and get support from the resources provided here on campus. College students shouldn’t be afraid to voice their needs. Let me acknowledge your needs by making sure that you are involved in an inclusive environment that will only enhance your experience here at SSU. Therefore, I am advocating for SSU students by ensuring that all their concerns are addressed and that the resources they need are available.
