Hi! My name is Michaela Bietz. As the Associated Students Community Service & Basic Needs Coordinator, I advise a dedicated group of students who lead Join Us Making Progress (JUMP) and the Basic Needs Initiative (BNI). JUMP provides volunteer opportunities for students to directly impact our community and develop leadership experience. BNI provides students access to free resources, including Lobo's Pantry, CalFresh assistance, and temporary housing. I graduated from Pepperdine University with a bachelor's in International Studies and an emphasis in Intercultural Communication. It is my passion to see CSU students succeed and impact the world around them! Please reach out to me if you have a food or housing need or a desire to serve alongside us.
