Study Buddies Tutoring Program
JUMP is partnering with a local elementary school to connect SSU student volunteers with students to assist with classwork and homework. We are expecting Study Buddies volunteers to commit to at least 1-2 hours a week, but have the option of dedicating more of your time if you are interested. Work study opportunities may be available upon qualification. Volunteers should prepare to meet at SSU 15 minutes before tutoring hours to carpool to the elementary campuses.
Spring 2023 Schedule: Tuesdays from 11:45am-1:30pm and Thursdays from 2:45pm to 4:30pm (This accounts for travel time to and from the elementary school.)

We are also looking for volunteers to help run our Pop-Up Pantries. Pop-Up Pantries are bi-weekly events that allow students to get access to free fresh produce.
